Charleston is a one-of-a-kind city, and one that Cannon Park Dental is exceedingly proud to call home. It’s impossible to describe the many reasons the Holy City is so special in one blog post, so here are just a few of the reasons that we at Cannon Park Dental are proud to be your Charleston dentist!
The People
More than anything, we love the smiling faces that fill the streets of Charleston and help make an ever-growing city feel like a small town. While its excellent restaurants, brilliant architecture, and beautiful sights are among the many reasons that Charleston has been named Travel + Leisure’s Best City in the World, it is Charleston’s people that truly make it the special place it is. Charleston is a city full of wonderful people who, even in the face of tragedy, always come together as a loving, supportive community. We couldn’t be prouder to serve the members of that community!
The Places
Second to the people are the fascinating places that the Holy City has to offer. The waterways, beaches, and marshes offer beautiful sights, serve as homes for a plethora of marine life, and provide inspiration for artists. From the to the Angel Oak on John’s Island to White Point Garden downtown, Charleston’s natural beauty and parks are hard to beat. And in addition to its natural beauty, the city is full of beautiful, historic homes and churches as well as one-of-a-kind architecture.
The Food
The Charleston restaurant scene is expanding everyday, making the city a go-to spot when it comes to experiencing the best the culinary arts have to offer. Charleston restaurants on the peninsula and reaching out to Johns Island give a southern flare to dishes from all over the globe. No wonder the likes of Top Chef and Anthony Bourdain have found their way to Charleston. (Just be sure that while enjoying all of this food, you’re taking proper care of your teeth, too!)
The Culture
Whether it’s art, music, literature, or even pop culture, Charleston boasts a great array of cultural entertainment. The Gibbes Art Museum as well as hundreds of private art vendors and galleries provide the city with beautiful artistry. Charleston is also home to the annual Spoleto Festival, inviting artists, musicians, performance artists, and others from all over the globe to celebrate the arts. Charleston has even impressed celebrities like Stephen Colbert, who was born and raised in the Holy City, Bill Murray, a co-owner of the Charleston Riverdogs, and Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who were married at Boone Hall Plantation.
Charleston really is full of smiling faces and beautiful places, and we could not be more proud to have the privilege of serving as your Charleston dentist and to be a part of this community!
