
Summer is officially over. As much as we loved the beach days, we are excited for pumpkin picking, Halloween, and everything else that comes with the colder months. If you are spending Fall in the Charleston area, there are so many great events happening that you won’t want to miss. To help you decide, we’ve compiled a list with some of our favorite events happening this fall!

Ready to get scared? Get in the Halloween spirit at Boone Hall Plantation with a haunted hayride and other spooky attractions! Warning: there are no refunds so enter at your own risk!
Town of Mt. Pleasant Children’s Day Festival
From carnival rides to face painting, this event is perfect for the whole family! Come on over to the Park West Recreation Complex October 18th for a guaranteed good time and a great cause! Admission to the festival is free and free parking is available at Cario Middle School!
It’s any Mac and Cheese lover’s wildest dream. This year’s Mac Off will feature 25 local Charleston restaurants competing against each other to claim the bragging rights of best Mac and Cheese in Charleston. Need a drink to wash down that delicious Mac and Cheese? Head on over to the Bourbon Trail to sample a variety of top shelf bourbons! Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate and tasting tickets are $1 each and are used to try the Mac and Cheese and bourbon.
